- Theme switcher: an «Auto» option now sits next to Light and Dark — the site follows your device’s system theme. If you flip the OS theme on the fly, the page repaints itself without a reload.
- Fixed errors when clicking the sign-in button. Previously the login window could open in both a new tab and the current one at the same time — now it only opens in a new tab, and if the browser blocks the popup we quietly switch to the sign-in form in the same tab.
- RT60: save-variant buttons gained a floppy-disk icon and shorter labels — «Variant A» / «Variant B». The duplicate «Save as / Overwrite» row below the calculator is gone; the CTA now lives only inside the relevant variant tab, next to the «slot empty» explainer. «Reset variants» stays and appears only when there is something to reset.
- RT60: the empty-slot caption now reads as a natural sentence — «Save this calculation so you can compare it with another treatment option later». A proper gap between the text and the save button means the copy no longer crashes into the button edge on desktop.
- RT60: on narrow phones the comparison switcher shortens «Обработка» to «Обраб» so the button always fits; the full label is still shown on desktop.
- Monitor placement: the «Overall suitability» hero card now matches the sibling cards. The big number uses the same size as the other tiles, the «Fair» (or «Good» / «Poor») label takes on the status color, and «From your data» turned into a tooltip icon next to the title — click it to see the data source.
- Helmholtz resonator: removed the tiny «square» artifact that used to poke out where the neck meets the cavity. The body and neck now draw as a single continuous bottle outline.
- Subwoofer: the off-scale caption under the chart no longer reads «N pt(s)» — it now uses proper singular/plural «1 point» / «N points».
- Improved card layout on the Room profile page on mobile. The long sentence labels inside score cards («Address first reflections on side walls…», «Bass energy is piling up in the corners…») no longer overflow the panel on the right — they now wrap onto multiple lines and stay within the card.
- Speech intelligibility: the page now keeps only the two essential explainers — «Model limitations» and «How we calculated». The extra RT60 and reflections-map promos are gone, so the key result is no longer buried under sign-posts.
- Room modes: the «Mode type breakdown» card is no longer hidden behind a collapsed toggle — the chart is visible right away. The long «Problem ranges» table is now collapsed by default and opens on click, so the page is no longer a vertical mile long.
- Room modes: «Modal guide» and the «Mode table» moved up — they now sit next to «Problem ranges», and axis dominance reads as a conclusion at the bottom instead of an opening statement.
- Room profile: every section card (resonances, improvement plan, Bonello chart, Bolt area, layout, comparison, scores, recommendations) is now expanded by default. Only the large «Monitors» card stays collapsible, since its recommendation list is long — for everything else the wrapper was just in the way.
- The «Add to project» button now makes the sign-in requirement obvious: greyed out with a centred caption «Available after registration» right under it. Before, it just looked broken.
- Planner: the lock icons next to «Subwoofer», «Door», «Window», and «Furniture» buttons gained a question-mark hint right next to them — hover shows «Available after sign-in». Previously, no hint appeared at all and there was no clue how to unlock them.
- New-project page, project pages, planner: guests no longer see broken UI. Instead of empty screens or red errors — a clean prompt: «Sign up to save your analyses».
- The «New project» card on /projects/new now stretches across the full width, matching every other card on the site. Previously it was as narrow as the sign-in form and looked out of place.
- On the project overview, the duplicate «Open planner» button is gone from the body of the «Placement» section — only the one in the section footer remains, which is where it belongs.
- On the subwoofer placement page, the «Read» button linking to the samesound.ru article got its → arrow back. Previously it had quietly vanished due to a global rule for external links.
- Formulas across the site read better: equals signs now have spaces around them — «α = 0.85», «Q = 2», «F = 1 Hz» instead of the cramped «α=0.85». Small thing, but easier on the eye.
- RT60: on narrow phones, the comparison switcher («Empty / Current / A / B / Treated») now breaks Russian and English words by syllable when the column is tight. «Обработка» becomes «Об-ра-бот-ка» and the button no longer overflows.
- RT60: the «medium confidence» badge now sits on the same line as the «Character: uneven» label on mobile. Previously it dropped onto its own line and looked stranded.
- Charts on mobile: tap a bar/line to see the value, then scroll the page — the tooltip no longer drifts along with the scroll. It dismisses cleanly on the first scroll gesture.
- A single 300×300 mobile ad slot now appears under the main content on every page — previously it only showed up in the Treatment section. No duplicates on pages where the slot already exists in the sidebar.
- Room profile, mobile: the precision and data-source indicators in the RT60, SBIR, and «Reflections» cards now sit on the same row as the card title. Previously they drifted below the title and looked disconnected.
- Reflections table: the colored status dot is now vertically centered against the wall name text — it used to stick to the top of the row.
- Subwoofer calculator: tooltips on the frequency-response chart are now shorter and sharper — values round to two decimals with Hz and dB suffixes, and the data-source indicator moved into the chart header.
- Superchunk corner bass-trap diagram now spans the full panel width and the «600 mm» label sits cleanly off the dashed face line.
- Noise calculator: dropped trailing periods on the home-listening line and the «Exceedance in N bands» tile so they read as labels, not half-sentences.
- Speech intelligibility: rewrote the hidden-STI hint and the «healthy targets» block into proper sentences. Target values STI ≥ 0.6, C50 > 0 dB and D50 > 50% no longer split mid-formula across lines.
- The «Calculate RT60» and «First-reflections map» cards under the speech-intelligibility header are now visible from the first page load instead of waiting for the first calculation.
- First-reflections map: KPI values «Critical / Early / Late» are now readable in dark mode — previously colors blended into the background. The α = 0.85 and Q = 2 labels in the model disclaimer got proper spacing around the equals sign. Legend marker dots are now vertically centered against their labels.
- Monitor placement: the «Equilateral triangle» and «How to place monitors» education cards moved under the page header, matching the placement on other tool pages.
- RT60: compact one-word mobile labels in the variant comparison switcher — «Empty / Current / A / B / Treated» now fit on a single row.
- Multi-layer absorber: the preset list now hides behind an «Add layer» dropdown — the sidebar is noticeably tighter. The perforated calculator spells the model name out as «Beranek-Vér + porous backing» instead of an abbreviation.
- Porous absorber: dropped the «Save for comparison» button; the «Add to project» CTA now sits next to «Calculate» at full size and keeps the accent tint in its disabled state.
- Superchunk corner trap: replaced the choppy «All 4 corners — full low-mode treatment» fragment with a proper sentence.
- Room profile: the RT60, SBIR, and «Reflections» sections render as plain cards now — no extra wrapper to expand. Precision and data-source indicators always sit inline with the section title, on desktop and mobile alike.
- Sign-in via SAMESOUND ID is back to normal: the login window opens in a new tab without 500 errors, and if the browser blocks the popup we silently fall back to a same-tab redirect instead of showing a blocking error banner.
- Registration is here: alongside the SAMESOUND ID sign-in there is now a dedicated "Create an account" button — sign up in a couple of steps and land back on the site automatically.
- Sign-in and registration now open in a new tab, and the original page refreshes itself the moment you finish — no more losing a filled-out form or an open calculator.
- Opening the Account section while signed out now triggers the sign-in dialog automatically — no extra click required to find the login button.
- The "Add to project" button moved into the calculator sidebar and now sits right under "Calculate". Until you run the first calculation it stays disabled, hinting that a result has to exist first.
- The catalog section headings on the homepage are larger and easier to scan now — same size as "How it works", no all-caps — so the page hierarchy reads more clearly.
- Project navigation now stretches across the full panel width — Overview, Room, Analysis, Treatment, Compare, and Versions are all equal-sized tabs instead of huddling on the left.
- The Projects page got the familiar card-style header with a short lead — it now reads consistently with the rest of the site.
- The project list in the dashboard now uses bordered cards consistent with the rest of the UI, the active project is highlighted with an accent outline, and the "New project" button has its own outline and matches the others in height.
- The "Open planner" button no longer appears twice on a project page — the duplicate inside the Analysis section has been removed, leaving it only in Placement where it belongs.
- The «Wall materials (optional)» block in a project now collapses and expands the same way as the rest of the site’s expandable sections — visually cleaner and consistent.
- Inputs and buttons across Projects, Account, and version controls are larger now — easier to tap and easier to read alongside the main content.
- On mobile the side menu no longer carries its own tint — the background matches the page, and the iOS Safari address bar now matches the header color. Less visual noise around the edges.
- Disabled-button labels read better now: gray, but with proper contrast against the panel background — clearly visible while still signalling the button is waiting on a precondition.
- Added impulse response analysis: upload a WAV from REW or ARTA and you get EDC, EDT, T20 and T30, RT60, plus the clarity metrics C50, C80, and D50. Everything runs in the browser, the file never leaves your device.
- A first-reflections calculator maps the points on walls, floor, and ceiling where early reflections land using the image-source method and tells you which to treat first.
- A speech-clarity calculator built for podcasters, lecturers, and home studios. The plain rating — "clear", "slightly boomy", "muffled" — gives a quick read on the room, and the full STI / RASTI model is there when you need to design from numbers.
- Added a room noise-level calculator: rated against NC and SanPiN-2021, with HVAC, outdoor noise, and indoor sources tracked separately. It also shows what happens to the rating if you remove the loudest source or improve windows by 5 dB.
- A subwoofer placement guide walks through five typical layouts with diagrams, explains how to find the listening sweet spot for each one, and predicts the resulting frequency response.
- The "room analyzer" is now the "spectrum analyzer" — the name finally matches what the tool actually does. Capture has two modes: infinite, or run until the spectrogram fills. The page now states upfront that a built-in laptop or phone mic is not a measurement device.
- A QRD and Skyline diffuser calculator: pick the lower target frequency and the maximum cell depth, and you get a ready-made grid of cell depths along the sequence plus an estimate of the working range.
- A Superchunk corner bass-trap calculator works the geometry from side length, depth, and fill density, returning total volume, material requirement, quarter-wave cutoff, and the absorption curve by octave.
- A perforated-resonator calculator. Set the perforation pitch and diameter, panel thickness, and the air gap behind the panel — see the resonance frequency and the absorption curve across frequency.
- The Helmholtz resonator calculator now lets you set the neck cross-section by either diameter or area, supports solving backwards from a target frequency to the geometry, and warns when the chosen configuration cannot physically be built.
- Added a real-time room analyzer: the screen shows a live spectrum, a spectrogram, and RMS/peak meters, driven by the connected microphone
- Online tuner: fixed microphone initialization error and added detailed guidance when the device is unavailable
- Expanded the monitor catalog: added Dynaudio, Eve Audio, HEDD Audio, Amphion, Tannoy, ATC, Barefoot Sound, PMC, Kali Audio, Avantone Pro, and new entries from PreSonus, Yamaha, JBL, KRK, ADAM Audio, Genelec, Focal, Neumann, and others
- Refined visual design: section icons, spacing, and typography unified across the app
